Paxi or Paxoi is the smallest group of Ionian Islands. The largest island is Paxos and nearby Antipaxos. Antipaxos is famous for its wine and two of the finest sand beaches in the Ionian Sea. The main town of Paxos, and the seat of the municipality, is Gaios.
Paxi has three small seaside villages Gaios, Lakka and Logos where many private yachts and fishing boats moor in summer.
Lakka Village located 7 km north of Gaios, the capital town of the island.
Paxi visitors can find so many gorgeous beaches in antipaxos & paxos with truly exotic waters.
The island is serviced by hydrofoils and ferry boats from the mainland Greece port of Igoumenitsa (1.5 hours), hydrofoil boats from Corfu (1 hour) and from Bari and Brindisi (4 hours).
